LED-Wall

At the start of the pandemic, not having much else to do, I helped my roommate with his art practicum. One component of which was a low-resolution display. This LED wall is made of a microcontroller, some RGB strand lights, and ping pong balls.

  • Microcontroller

    The ESP32, a wifi-enabled microcontroller, was used to control the LEDs

  • Inspiration

    Bitluni's Project

    15 x 20 Pixel Display

    Bitluni is a YouTuber whose video was the inspiration for this project.

  • LEDs

    The lights are individually addressable across one communication channel. The LEDs are interfaced via the FastLED library.
